What to Expect
Everything you need to know before your first visit and answers to the most common questions we hear.
What Happens at Your Initial Evaluation
Your first appointment is a thorough evaluation. We take the time to understand your situation before we start treating anything.
01
History & Goals
We start by understanding your symptoms, how long they have been present, what makes them better or worse, your activity level, and what you want to get back to doing.
02
Movement & Strength Assessment
We assess your movement quality, range of motion, strength, and any relevant functional tests to understand what is limiting you.
03
Clinical Findings
We explain what we found in plain language. You will understand what is going on and why, not just receive a diagnosis label.
04
Your Plan
Before you leave, I'll walk you through what I found, what I think is causing it, and how long it should take. You'll get one recommendation and the full cost before you agree to anything.
What to Bring
- Comfortable, athletic clothing you can move freely in
- Any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI reports) if you have them
- A list of current medications if applicable
- Notes on your symptoms, history, and what you have already tried
- Your goals: what do you want to get back to doing?
Good to Know
- Every appointment is private and one-on-one with me.
- Your first visit is an hour. Follow-ups are 30 minutes.
- If you just want an adjustment, you'll still start with the full hour, and you'll get adjusted that day if it's right for you.
- I don't bill private insurance, but HSA and FSA cards work here.
- You'll fill out and sign your paperwork online before your first visit.
- You'll leave your first visit knowing what the plan is and what comes next.
